October 16th, 2017 marks the date when the first Qlik Sense dashboard went live on the SalesForce.com instance of one of B EYE’s largest corporate clients from the medical device sector. The application serves the emerging reporting needs of sales representatives on the go. It was built with flexibility in mind, providing users with easy access to sophisticated sales reporting right within SalesForce – anywhere, on any device.
To accomplish this, B EYE’s team had to design the entire Qlik Sense Enterprise infrastructure from scratch and integrate it within SalesForce. Single sign-on (SSO) was a must to ensure seamless user experience. Once a user is logged on to the website, they do not need to provide separate credentials to access Qlik Sense. Naturally, data security was of utmost importance and the implementation was designed in a way that Qlik Sense applies the same permissions that the user has within SalesForce. Through the benefits of advanced network design B EYE ensured that users do not need to connect to a VPN in order to access the dashboard while at the same time making sure company data stays safe. This means that for the first time, sales reporting becomes truly mobile – accessible from any internet-connected device with a browser.
