What We Built for a US Logistics Provider

Built an automated damaged-pallet reporting solution in Qlik Cloud that consolidates operational data and photographic evidence into structured, distributed reports. 

The solution connects directly to a SharePoint list using Qlik’s native connector, retrieves metadata and image URLs, and dynamically renders up to six photos per incident using URL-based image embedding. 

Reports are automatically grouped and distributed via Qlik Cloud Reporting to predefined stakeholders, including operations, quality control, and claims teams. 

The Problem 

Damaged pallets during transportation required manual documentation and distribution. 

Photos were uploaded to SharePoint, but reporting relied on: 

  • Manual email compilation 
  • Copy-paste of images into documents 
  • Inconsistent formatting 
  • Delays in notifying relevant teams 

This created bottlenecks in claims processing, slowed corrective actions, and reduced visibility into recurring damage patterns. 

There was no standardized, automated way to deliver structured incident reports with visual evidence attached.
