This policy is issued by B EYE LTD (UIC 202206264, 1 Krum Popov St., 1421 Sofia, Bulgaria) – referred to as “B EYE”, “we”, “our” or “us”. It explains how we use cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit https://b‑eye.com (the “Site”).

2  What are cookies? 

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the site owner. Cookies may be first‑party (set by this Site) or third‑party (set by external services). 

We also use similar technologies such as localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB and tracking pixels. In this policy we call them collectively “cookies”. 

 
3  How we obtain your consent 

We display a first‑layer cookie banner the first time you visit the Site (or after 6 months, or whenever we add new cookies). The banner offers: 

  • Accept all – sets all non‑essential cookies;
  • Reject all – sets only strictly‑necessary cookies; 
  • Customise – opens detailed settings where you can toggle each category/vendor. 

Your choice is stored for 6 months, after which we will ask again. You can withdraw or modify consent at any time by clicking “Cookie settings” in the footer or the floating widget.

4.1  Google Analytics 4 & Consent Mode v2 

With your permission we use Google Analytics 4 to generate anonymous statistics. We have configured it to: 

  • anonymise the last octet of your IP address before storage; 
  • retain event data for 14 months; 
  • honour the consent signals analytics_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization required by Google Consent Mode v2 (in force for EEA users since March 2024). 

4.2  Meta (Facebook) Pixel 

If you enable the “Advertising” category we set the Meta Pixel to measure campaign effectiveness and build retargeting audiences. Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. may link this data to your Facebook account according to its Data Policy. We do not share identifiable information with Meta. 

4.3  Other tracking technologies 

We may use server‑side tagging, localStorage or API‑based tracking (e.g. Google Enhanced Conversions) for the same purposes listed above. These technologies are disabled unless the corresponding cookie category is enabled. 

 
5  How to manage cookies 

  • Via our banner / settings widget – The easiest way.
  • Browser settings – Most browsers let you block or delete cookies via preferences. Instructions: Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari. 
  • Opt‑out extensions – Google Analytics Opt‑out Browser Add‑on, Meta Ad Preferences, Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. 

Rejecting or deleting cookies may affect Site performance but essential features will continue to function. 

 
6  International transfers 

Some third‑party providers (e.g. Google LLC, Meta Platforms, Inc.) are located outside the European Economic Area. Transfers are protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. See our Privacy Policy for details. 

 
7  Retention of consent records 

We store anonymised consent logs for 5 years to demonstrate compliance with GDPR and local regulations. The logs contain a CMP identifier, timestamp and consent preferences – no directly identifiable data.

However, the collected data is saved and processed by Facebook.
