Get to Know Petya: Senior Anaplan Consultant in B EYE
How would you describe your role and journey at B EYE so far?
I currently hold the position of Senior Anaplan Consultant at B EYE. I joined the company more than five years ago and have had the opportunity to progress from Junior Anaplan Consultant to my current role. It’s been an incredible journey of growth and learning.
What’s the most valuable lesson you’ve gained from your work here?
The most important thing I’ve learned on the job is the value of adaptability and continuous learning. In the dynamic and ever-evolving landscape of Anaplan, staying up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and methodologies is crucial. I’ve found that being open to new ideas and approaches has not only helped me excel in my role but has also contributed to the success of our team.
Got any funny, scary, or exciting stories to share from your time at B EYE?
There is one thing combining these three feelings at the same time and that is to start your first working day at the company during a company team event. I think I will never forget this awesome and full of excitement day!
For those aspiring to follow a similar career path, what advice would you give?
My advice to someone aspiring to have a similar career would be to never stop learning and networking. Stay curious, take on new challenges, and seek out mentors or colleagues who can guide you. On top of that, building a strong foundation of technical skills is essential, but don’t underestimate the power of soft skills like communication, teamwork, and adaptability—they are equally important for success in this field.
Between a book, a movie, or a video game, what’s your pick?
I would prefer either a book or a movie as both follow a narrative structure. The best thing is that you can dive deep into the character arc, stimulate your imagination and evoke a palette of emotions. Personally, my favorite genre is crime.
What are the top 5 destinations on your bucket list?
My bucket list starts with Uyuni Salt Flat in Bolivia, Machu Picchu in Peru, Chile’s Patagonia, Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, New Zealand and many, many more. Each of these places offers a unique blend of culture, natural beauty, and adventure that I hope to explore someday.
Tell us about a standout project you’ve tackled with Anaplan.
One of my favorite projects with Anaplan involved solving a significant challenge for a client in the pharmaceutical industry. We were able to prepare an environment that reduced the time needed for budgeting and forecasting, and improved accuracy and data integrity. Its capabilities reduced costly errors and gave the opportunity to make data-driven decisions by quickly modeling different scenarios. Seeing the positive impact it had on our client’s business was immensely rewarding.
